Psychological well-being, or flourishing, is essential for mental health, especially among emerging adults in high-stress urban environments. Third places such as cafes & parks can serve as restorative spaces that support flourishing through perceived restorativeness. This study aims to examine the relationship between the level of perceived restorativeness and flourishing in third places among emerging adults in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek) using a correlational method. The third places included in this study are cafes, parks, libraries, malls/shopping centers, and restaurants. The instruments used in this research include the Perceived Restorativeness Scale-11 and The PERMA Profiler. A total of 181 participants were involved in the study, aged between 19 and 24 years (M = 21.4, SD = 0.725). The results show a positive relationship between perceived restorativeness and flourishing in third places. These findings suggest that restorative environments play an important role in enhancing well-being and can inform the design of spaces that support flourishing.
