Περίληψη

Bagaimana seseorang menyikapi isu kematian adalah area yang masih belum banyak diteliti dalam konteks akademik, khususnya di Indonesia. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara orientasi religius seseorang dengan kecemasan terhadap kematian. Survei dilakukan terhadap 363 partisipan berusia 19-40 tahun (Musia = 22.06; SD = 4.60) dengan menggunakan Death Anxiety Scale (DAS) dan Religious Orientation Scale (ROS). Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa orientasi religius ekstrinsik berkorelasi positif, lemah, dan signifikan dengan kecemasan terhadap kematian, sedangkan orientasi religius intrinsik tidak berkorelasi dengan tingkat kecemasan individu terhadap kematian. Hasil studi ini memberikan pedoman yang bermanfaat untuk mengembangkan strategi adaptif dalam menghadapi kematian, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan religiositas.
