Abstract

The final year of college is a time when students feel anxious about the future (future anxiety) due to the demand to graduate and carry out activities after graduation. One thing that can overcome future anxiety is a spiritual well-being approach, as a conditioin that underlies life satisfaction and person’s ability to express his relationship with God. Through this, this quantitative reseach aims to determine the role of spiritual well-being on future anxiety in final year students in Indonesia. Participants consist of 98 active final year students aged 20-25 years and adhered to one of the six religions recognized in Indonesia. The instruments used in this research were the Dark Future Scale (DFS) and the Spiritual Well-Being Scale (SWBS). The results of data analysis through a simple linear regression test show that spiritual well-being has a significant role on future anxiety in final year students in Indonesia.
