Περίληψη

This study examines the impact of "Acts of Kindness" on improving well-being among final-year students experiencing academic stress. A total of 39 participants were divided into an experimental group (19 participants) and a control group (20 participants). The experimental group engaged in daily acts of kindness for 14 days, while the control group participated in daily coloring activities. Both groups were assessed for well-being before and after the intervention using the Mental Health Continuum - Short Form (MHC-SF). Results showed a significant increase in well-being for the experimental group (t = -2.024, p = 0.029), suggesting that acts of kindness are effective in improving well-being. However, no significant difference was found between the two groups post-intervention. These findings support previous research on the positive effects of prosocial behavior and suggest that acts of kindness could serve as a valuable coping strategy for students under academic stress.
