ADAPTATION OF THE MACHIAVELLIANISM PERSONALITY SCALE

The dark triad personality is a personality theory that describes negative individual traits, one of which is Machiavellianism. This research focused on adapting the Machiavellianism scale into Indonesian has not yet been conducted. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to adapt the Machiavellian Personality Scale (MPS) into Indonesian. The MPS consists of four components with 16 items. The number of participants used for analysis in this study was 202 people. The analysis used included CFA, Cronbach's alpha, and correlation with the help of JASP. The results showed that the adapted MPS has reasonable psychometric properties.
