Authors who publish with MEDICINUS (MED) retain the copyright and full publishing rights to their work.

By submitting and publishing a manuscript in MEDICINUS, authors agree to the following terms:

Copyright

Authors retain copyright ownership of their work. Copyright is not transferred to MEDICINUS or to Universitas Pelita Harapan.

Authors grant MEDICINUS a non-exclusive right of first publication and permission to publish, distribute, reproduce, and make the article publicly available as part of the journal.

Licensing

Articles published in MEDICINUS are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Under this license, others may share, copy, redistribute, adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the published work, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source, a link to the license is provided, any changes are indicated, and derivative works are distributed under the same or a compatible license.

First Publication Rights

Authors grant MEDICINUS the right of first publication of the accepted manuscript. This right does not constitute a transfer of copyright or an exclusive publishing license.

Author Rights

Authors retain the right to use, reproduce, distribute, archive, and share their work without unnecessary restrictions, provided that the original publication in MEDICINUS is appropriately acknowledged.
