Journal History

MEDICINUS was established in 2007 as the official scientific journal of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pelita Harapan, Indonesia. Since its establishment, the journal has provided a scholarly platform for the dissemination of scientific research and academic contributions in the fields of medicine and health sciences.

MEDICINUS is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports, and other scholarly contributions relevant to its aims and scope.

The journal is identified by the following International Standard Serial Numbers (ISSN):

As part of its development toward digital scholarly publishing, MEDICINUS adopted an electronic journal management and online submission system to facilitate manuscript submission, peer review, editorial management, publication, and access to its scientific content.

MEDICINUS is published by Universitas Pelita Harapan and currently publishes three issues per year, in February, June, and October.

Over the years, MEDICINUS has continued to strengthen its editorial governance, peer-review procedures, publication ethics, digital accessibility, and adherence to recognized standards of scholarly publishing. The journal remains committed to improving the quality, visibility, accessibility, and integrity of the scientific research it publishes.
