Copyright Ownership
Copyright on any article published in FaST is retained by the author(s). Publication of the manuscript does not transfer copyright ownership from the authors to the journal or the publisher (Universitas Pelita Harapan).
Authors maintain full copyright ownership of their work while granting the journal the necessary non-exclusive publication rights and agreeing to publish under the specified Creative Commons license.
First Publication Rights
By submitting and agreeing to publish their work in FaST, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication for the article, including the right to produce, publish, and disseminate the official Version of Record to the public.
This non-exclusive publication right allows FaST to perform all necessary publishing actions, including:
- Distributing and archiving the paper across digital systems and indexing databases;
- Managing article metadata and Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs); and
- Providing full-text access via the journal management platform.
In any subsequent reuse or redistribution, FaST - Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi must be properly cited and acknowledged as the original venue of first publication.

All research articles published in FaST are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
Under this license, readers and the public are free to:
- Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format; and
- Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.
These rights are granted provided that the user complies with all terms of the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
Terms and Requirements for Reuse
Any reuse, adaptation, or redistribution of published articles under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license must comply with the following conditions:
- Attribution: Provide appropriate credit to the original author(s);
- Citation: Include a complete bibliographical citation pointing to the original publication source;
- Identifier Link: Include the official article DOI link pointing to the Version of Record;

Author Self-Archiving and Redistribution
