Christian teacher competency##common.commaListSeparator## critical thinking##common.commaListSeparator## digital era##common.commaListSeparator## facilitator要旨
This is motivated by the fact that critical thinking skills in Indonesia still need to be optimized. Students' critical thinking skills are very important in the digital era, this is because critical thinking skills will help students interpret the information they obtain. Technology plays an important role in education, especially for Christian teachers to have relevant competencies as facilitators. This writing aims to describe the competencies of Christian teachers needed to develop students' critical thinking skills in the digital era. The author uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research results show that the competency of Christian teachers as facilitators is needed in developing students' critical thinking skills in the digital era. Efforts to develop students' critical thinking skills in the digital era can begin by applying the competencies of Christian teachers as facilitators. The application of Christian teachers as facilitators needs to be carried out within the framework of Christian education which bases its education on Biblical truth to restore the damaged image of God in students in the digital era. Humans are images of God who have their own uniqueness, this makes Christian teachers have to develop students holistically. Holistic student development is carried out by carrying out its role as a facilitator in Christian education. It is recommended that further research examine the competence of teachers as facilitators in an effort to develop other aspects of students besides students' critical thinking abilities to see the effectiveness of this role.
