Author Fees and Publication Charges Policy

The Nursing Current: Jurnal Keperawatan (NCJK) applies the following author fees:

Article Submission Fee:
Free.
Authors are not required to pay any fee at the submission stage.

Article Processing Charge (APC) / Publication Fee:
USD 50 or IDR 750,000

This fee is applied to support the costs of open-access dissemination, manuscript handling and editing, journal management, and the overall publication process. The publication fee is required for each article that has been accepted for publication and may be paid by the authors or their affiliated institutions.

NCJK offers APC waivers to papers whose corresponding authors are based in countries classified by the World Bank as low-income economies as of 2025.

A full or partial waiver of author fees may be granted at the editor’s discretion in cases such as limited funding, excessive manuscript length, or other reasonable circumstances explained by the author during submission. Authors requesting a waiver must clearly state this in the Comments to the Editor section at the time of submission. Requests made after this stage are unlikely to be approved. Waiver requests do not influence the editorial decision or the outcome of the peer-review process.
