Publication Ethics

Nursing Current: Jurnal Keperawatan (NCJK) is fully committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in scholarly publishing. We work closely with editors, authors, and peer reviewers to ensure integrity and good publication practices throughout the editorial and review process.

Our ethical guidelines are aligned with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Code of Conduct (https://publicationethics.org/guidance) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) Recommendations (https://www.icmje.org/icmje-recommendations.pdf), particularly in handling research and publication misconduct.

All research involving human subjects must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki (https://www.wma.net/what-we-do/medical-ethics/declaration-of-helsinki/). Studies involving animals must follow EC Directive 86/609/EEC (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dir/1986/609/oj).

NCJK also adheres to the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (Version 4, 2022), jointly issued by COPE, DOAJ, OASPA, and WAME (https://doaj.org/apply/transparency; https://doi.org/10.24318/cope.2019.1.12).
