Abstract

Abstract

The development of the 21st century learning era and the development of the industrial revolution 4.0, brings the world of education into the arena of competition in all aspects of life. Current advances in science and technology provide their own challenges for teachers in designing a learning model to produce learners according to 21st century competencies. Current education has not been able to produce the quality of 21st century learners who have the ability to think critically, think creatively and think reflectively. It is a challenge for an educator to design the right learning model. This study aims to see whether the application of research-based learning model can develop students' critical thinking, creative thinking, and reflective thinking skills in learning biology. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research according to Mc. Kernans which was conducted for two cycles in class XI Major A. Data collection techniques used rubrics to measure the achievement of indicators through tests. The results showed that the application of the research-based learning model was able to improve students' critical thinking, creative thinking, and reflective thinking skills in learning biology.

Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak
