The cover design of Nursing Current: Jurnal Keperawatan was recently updated following the Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Pelita Harapan’s decision to adopt apricot as the official color of its institutional flag. This change reflects the symbolic significance of apricot in the nursing profession. Recognized internationally as the official color for nursing in academic regalia, apricot is designated by the Intercollegiate Code of Academic Costume. It represents core values such as compassion, healing, empathy, and human connection, which are fundamental to nursing practice and education. The integration of apricot into the journal’s visual identity aligns with global academic traditions and communicates a warm, professional, and humanistic tone to its readership. This design renewal strengthens the journal’s role as a scholarly platform committed to advancing nursing science grounded in service, care, and academic excellence. Apricot functions as more than a visual element; it serves as a meaningful representation of the philosophy and spirit of the nursing profession.
