This study aims to determine the awareness of companies interested in the practice of environmental innovation and the impact of sustainable business performance, especially from the mediating effect of service innovation. The approach used is a quantitative approach and data collected by researchers through online questionnaires and papers. Data collected were 81 technology companies different in Batam cities. The results show that, 1) environmental innovation has a significant effect on service innovation, 2) service innovation has a significant effect on sustainable business performance, 3) environmental innovation has a significant effect on sustainable business performance, and 4) service innovation as mediation has a significant effect on environmental innovation sustainable business performance. It can be concluded that the four hypotheses are interconnected and play an important role.
Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesadaran perusahaan yang tertarik pada praktik inovasi lingkungan dan membawa dampak kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan, terutama dari efek mediasi dari inovasi layanan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantatif dan data dikumpulkan oleh peneliti melalui kuisioner online dan kertas. Data yang terkumpul sebanyak 81 perusahaan teknologi di kota Batam yang berbeda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa, 1. Inovasi lingkungan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap inovasi layanan, 2. Inovasi layanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan, 3. Inovasi lingkungan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan, 4. Inovasi layanan sebagai mediasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap inovasi lingkungan dan kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Dapat disimpulkan keempat hipotesis tersebut saling berhubungan dan berperan penting.
