Multidisciplinary research conducted by CEST (Center for Earthquake Science and Technology) ITB states that there is the potency of a tsunami up to 20 meters on the south coast of West Java and up to 12 meters on the south coast of Blitar, East Java occurs following the 8.8 MMI megathrust earthquake. Community and stakeholder preparedness is inevitable and should be implemented immediately. The South Lebak Mitigation Group (GMLS) is a community-based initiative to do a collective and collaborative program in disaster preparedness and responses based on local wisdom patterns. The Universitas Multimedia Nusantara’s community services program (PKM) aim to increase disaster literacy towards people of Panggarangan village and its surrounding in the Panggarangan sub-district in the southernmost of Lebak Regency. According to the situation analysis, local wisdom-based communication and media deployment is rarely used. This is the reason why the PKM program is aimed at the objective of creating communication agents at the household level through Satu Rumah Satu Pendongeng (One House One Storyteller) Training of Trainers (ToT). This ToT program also aimed to ground the activity of storytelling towards children within the family to create an individual that can face disaster. The program consists of a knowledge enrichment and storytelling workshop. The knowledge enrichment teaches the basics of storytelling, and the modality to tell stories while the workshop focuses on developing supporting tools for storytelling and storytelling simulation.
