This research was conducted to see the relationship between cognitive learning outcomes with psychomotor learning outcomes in students at Fakultas Ilmu Seni, Program Studi Musik, Universitas Pelita Harapan. In music learning, cognitive and psychomotor domains are very influential to describe the competencies of students. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational approach. Data collection was obtained from the results of the Music Theory test scores and Major Instrument test scores. The study was conducted on 26 students who were taking Music Theory courses and also the Major Piano Instrument course. The results of this study stated that the relationship between cognitive and psychomotor learning is still relatively low and not significant. The magnitude of the contribution of cognitive learning outcomes was only 11.42% to psychomotor learning outcomes. The results of this conclusion are expected to be a reflection for developing the next curriculum design.
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antara hasil belajar kognitif dengan hasil belajar psikomotor pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Seni, Program Studi Musik Universitas Pelita Harapan. Dalam pembelajaran musik, ranah kognitif dan psikomotor sangat berpengaruh untuk menggambarkan kompetensi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil ujian Teori Musik dan ujian Instrumen Mayor. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 26 mahasiswa yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah Teori Musik dan juga mata kuliah Instrumen Mayor Piano. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa hubungan antara pembelajaran kognitif dan psikomotor masih tergolong rendah dan tidak signifikan. Besarnya kontribusi hasil belajar kognitif hanya 11,42% terhadap hasil belajar psikomotor. Hasil dari kesimpulan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi refleksi untuk pengembangan desain kurikulum selanjutnya.
