Studi Fenomenologi: Kualitas Suara Dialog (ADR & VO) Pada Film Yang Diproduksi Oleh Jakarta FourMix Studio

Kemajuan yang pesat terhadap industri film Indonesia menarik perhatian peneliti untuk melakukan eksplorasi terhadap Jakarta FourMix Studio, laboratorium suara bersertifikasi Dolby Atmos pertama di Indonesia, yang melakukan produksi suara dialog untuk film layar lebar di Indonesia. Film-film yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah film Habibie & Ainun 3, Nona Manis Sayange, dan Anchika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pola pendekatan dalam produksi suara dialog pada film yang diproduksi di studio ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk mendalami pandangan ahli audio-visual yang melibatkan sutradara, perekam suara film set (sound recordist), editor dialog, dan operator automated dialogue replacement (ADR) & voice-over (VO). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan observasi pasif perekaman ADR dan juga wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan para ahli audio-visual pada ketiga film tersebut. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan pengetahuan baru mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kualitas suara dialog dari tahap produksi hingga pascaproduksi film. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang peran suara dialog dalam pengalaman menonton film, sementara para akademisi dan praktisi audio-visual mendapatkan wawasan baru terkait pendekatan mengatasi kendala dalam kualitas audio di tahap produksi hingga pascaproduksi film.
