Abstract


MK. Design, Society & Environment (DSE) dirancang pada level Fakultas (School of Design) sebagai demonstrasi praktik tridharma perguruan tinggi di level civitas academica Fakultas bersama para mahasiswa/i untuk melaksanakan penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat secara kolaboratif dan berdampak langsung kepada masyarakat melalui desain. Kegiatan penelitian, mendesain dan aksi di MK. DSE Prodi Desain Interior, SoD, UPH dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun akademik 2017/2018. Pada kegiatan kali ini para dosen dan mahasiswa/i bekerja sama dengan warga Kampung Pondok Pucung, Tangerang Selatan, Jawa Barat, khususnya para pemuda/i-nya berusaha untuk membangkitkan kreativitas pemuda/i kampung dengan pembekalan keterampilan desain cetak. Metodologi khusus yang digunakan adalah paduan Participatory Action Research (PAR) dan Design Thinking (DT) yaitu: Desain sebagai Generator (DAG). Upaya pembangkitan kreativitas ini mewujud dalam bentuk festival kreatif anak muda Kampung Pondok Pucung: Ambreg.
