A CULTURALLY TAILORED APPROACH TO HYPERTENSION CONTROL: EDUKASI DAN SKRINING DINI BERBASIS BUDAYA BANJAR

Hipertensi merupakan faktor risiko utama penyakit kardiovaskular yang prevalensinya masih tinggi pada masyarakat dengan keterbatasan akses layanan kesehatan dan pengaruh budaya yang kuat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, memperbaiki perilaku kesehatan, serta menurunkan tekanan darah melalui pendekatan berbasis budaya Banjar yang terintegrasi dengan continuity of nursing care. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas dengan melibatkan 85 masyarakat dewasa dan lanjut usia. Intervensi meliputi edukasi kesehatan berbasis budaya, skrining tekanan darah menggunakan tensimeter digital terkalibrasi, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan melalui kunjungan rumah (home visit). Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner pengetahuan hipertensi (15 item, skor 0–100), lembar observasi perilaku kesehatan, dan pengukuran tekanan darah. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan komparatif menggunakan uji paired t-test dan uji McNemar. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rerata pengetahuan dari 54,3 ± 12,5 menjadi 78,6 ± 10,2 (p < 0,001), peningkatan pemeriksaan tekanan darah rutin dari 24,7% menjadi 60,0% (p < 0,001), serta penurunan tekanan darah sistolik dari 142,5 ± 15,3 mmHg menjadi 134,2 ± 13,8 mmHg (p = 0,002) dan diastolik dari 89,7 ± 10,1 mmHg menjadi 84,5 ± 9,6 mmHg (p = 0,004). Perubahan perilaku juga terjadi pada penurunan konsumsi garam, merokok, dan konsumsi kopi. Intervensi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas self-care serta mendorong terbentuknya sistem pemantauan kesehatan berbasis komunitas.
