SKRINING DAN EDUKASI KESEHATAN MENTAL LANSIA MELALUI PHQ-9 DAN GAD-7 DI HARI KESEHATAN MENTAL SEDUNIA 2025

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran, deteksi dini, dan literasi kesehatan mental pada lansia melalui skrining depresi dan kecemasan menggunakan Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) dan Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), serta edukasi kesehatan jiwa. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Tangerang, pada 10 Oktober 2025, bertepatan dengan Hari Kesehatan Mental Sedunia, melibatkan sekitar 30 peserta, dengan 14 orang lansia yang bersedia mengikuti skrining. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pengisian kuesioner PHQ-9 dan GAD-7, penyampaian edukasi mengenai kesehatan mental lansia, dan sesi diskusi serta tanya jawab interaktif. Hasil skrining menunjukkan bahwa 64,3% responden memiliki gejala depresi ringan-minimal, sedangkan 64,3% menunjukkan tingkat kecemasan ringan-minimal. Peserta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam sesi diskusi, dan sebagian menyampaikan pengalaman pribadi terkait stres, kesepian, dan gangguan tidur. Kegiatan ini menegaskan pentingnya deteksi dini gangguan mental di komunitas lansia. Edukasi yang tepat mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapan individu serta keluarga dalam menjaga keseimbangan mental-emosional pada usia lanjut.
