Perlindungan Investor Sektor Pasar Modal dalam Kajian Hukum terhadap Regulasi Pengawasan OJK (Studi POJK Nomor 33 Tahun 2024)

Investor protection in the capital market is a fundamental aspect of maintaining economic stability and fostering public trust in the financial system. The phenomenon underlying this study is the implementation of the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) Number 33 of 2024, which aims to encourage the development and strengthening of investment management in the capital market, in line with efforts to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of this regulation in providing legal protection to investors and examine the role of OJK's supervision in creating a secure and trustworthy investment environment. Using a normative juridical method with a descriptive-analytical approach, this research involves a literature study that comprehensively analyzes capital market regulations, including their implications for the interests of investors and issuers. The study's findings indicate that POJK Number 33 of 2024 has significant potential to enhance the efficiency of investment management while providing better legal protection for investors, even though challenges remain in terms of technical implementation and consistent supervision. This regulation reflects the government's commitment to establishing a robust and competitive capital market system.
