EFEKTIVITAS TERAPI AUTOGENIK DALAM MENGURANGI NYERI PADA PASIEN POST EKSISI FAM DI SALAH SATU RUMAH SAKIT SWASTA DI BEKASI, JAWA BARAT

Fibroadenoma mammary or FAM is a lump found in the breast and is a benign tumor. One of the management of FAM is by surgical excision. Surgical excision can cause side effects for patients, one of which is pain. Pain management can be done with pharmacological and non- pharmacological management. One of the interventions to reduce pain non-pharmacologically is autogenic therapy. Autogenic therapy is one of the relaxation therapies that seems to put oneself into a mild hypnosis which has benefits in reducing pain, reducing stress and muscle tension. This study was conducted on a patient post-excision FAM with complaints of post-excision pain with a scale using a numeric rating scale, a scale of 5 during activities and a scale of 4 when resting. The nursing implementation of autogenic therapy was carried out to patients for 3 days with a duration of therapy of 10 minutes and was carried out 3 times a day. The evaluation obtained on the first day of the patient's pain decreased from a 5/4 scale to a 3/2 pain scale, the second day evaluation became a 2/1 pain scale, the third day evaluation became a 1/0 pain scale. The results showed that autogenic therapy was effective in reducing pain post FAM excision.
