Konferensi Ilmiah Akuntansi IX (KIA9) 2022 merupakan Forum Dosen Akuntansi untuk membahas isu-isu Akuntansi dan riset Akuntansi terkini. Sesuai dengan namanya, KIA9 ini merupakan penyelegaraan yang kesembilan dan sebelumnya sudah diselenggarakan selama 8 tahun sejak tahun 2002 oleh universitas-universitas secara bergantian. Untuk KIA9 tahun 2022 ini Universitas Pelita harapan (UPH) mendapatkan kesempatan  dan kehormatan untuk menjadi tuan rumah. 

Thema dari KIA9 2022 ini adalah Revolutionary Accounting in VUCA Era. Dengan thema ini dalam KIA9 ini akan dibahas tantangan, peluang dan respon stratejik dari profesi akuntansi dalam menghadapi era yang bergejolak (turbulent) dan tidak dapat diduga (unpredictable) yang berkarakteristikkan keadaan yang tidak menentu serta rentan terhadap terjadinya perubahan (volatility), ketidakpastian dan keadaan yang penuh dengan kejutan yang dapat terjadi kapan saja (uncertainty), situasi yang penuh dengan kerumitan (complexity), dan keadaan mengambang yang menyebabkan kebingungan untuk membaca arah dengan jelas (ambiguity). Respon stratejik yang tepat atas tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi profesi akuntansi dalam era VUCA ini akan menentukan eksistensi profesi akuntansi dan eksistensi Program Studi Akuntansi sebagai produsen profesi akuntan.

OJS KIA9 ini merupakan sistem terpadu untuk penanganan paper-paper hasil penelitian Akuntansi yang diserahkan oleh para peserta KIA9. Di sini, peserta KIA9 dapat menyerahkan paper awal, paper hasil revisi maupun Camera Ready paper serta dapat memantau status perkembangan proses review dari paper yang diserahkan. Melalui OJS KIA9 ini juga para Reviewer dapat mengunduh paper yang akan direview dan mengunggah paper hasil review serta memantau status review paper yang menjadi tanggung jawabnya.

Keluaran utama dari OJS KIA9 ini adalah Proceeding Konferensi Ilmiah Akuntansi IX 2022 yang berupa full paper dari submisi artikel peneliti.
