Aplikasi Sistem Warna Munsell dalam Desain Properti Video Game (Studi Kasus: Animal Crossing)

Abstract


Warna adalah hal esensial dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia. Di masa kini warna juga seringkali dipakai untuk menentukan mood dalam media berbasis teknologi, salah satunya dalam game “Animal Crossing”. Aplikasi sistem warna Munsell terhadap desain properti dalam game “Animal Crossing” sendiri bertujuan untuk mencari skema warna tententu melalui analisis ketiga aspek utama di dalam sistem warna yakni hue, value, dan chroma yang kemudian akan dicari relevansinya dan dampaknya terhadap audiens dengan sedikit memaparkan sisi psikologis. Dengan mencari sumber-sumber yang relevan, penulis berhasil menganalisis bahwa “Animal Crossing” mempunyai warna-warna unik dan spesifik yang digunakan dalam mendesain properti ingame yang tentunya juga berpengaruh terhadap audiens.
