Strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Penemuan Untuk Menstimulus Keterlibatan Siswa Dalam Konteks Pembelajaran Daring

Abstract


Students who are the image of God have a primary need to know His creator through relationships based on the relationship of the Triune God. Student engagement in the context of online learning as a form of interaction and relationships, but in reality, the gap was found that does not meet the aspect of student engagement as was done in class 10 Social Studies, one of the senior high schools in Jakarta in the period July - August 2021. Through discovery learning strategy, teachers can stimulate student engagement in the context of online learning. The purpose of writing is to describe the steps of the discovery learning strategies to stimulus student engagement in the online learning context. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The result of this paper is four steps of implementing discovery learning strategies that can stimulate student engagement. Discovery learning strategies are proven can stimulus student engagement, especially behavioral engagement through developing self-confidence about what can find in the learning process. The teacher's role as a facilitator in discovery learning strategies is crucial to ensure relationships and interactions during online learning. Suggestions from discovery-based learning strategies can cover two other dimensions of student engagement, psychological and cognitive engagement.

BAHASA INDONESIA: Siswa sebagai gambar dan rupa Allah memiliki kebutuhan untuk mengenal Allah melalui relasi yang didasarkan pada relasi Allah Tritunggal. Keterlibatan siswa dalam konteks pembelajaran daring sebagai bentuk interaksi dan relasi, tetapi pada kenyataannya masih terdapat pembelajaran yang tidak memenuhi aspek keterlibatan siswa seperti yang dilakukan di kelas 10 IPS salah satu SMA di Jakarta pada periode Juli – Agustus 2021. Melalui strategi pembelajaran berbasis penemuan, guru dapat menstimulasi keterlibatan siswa dalam konteks pembelajaran daring. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah strategi pembelajaran berbasis penemuan untuk menstimulus keterlibatan siswa dalam konteks pembelajaran daring. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penulisan paper ini adalah terdapat 4 langkah dari pelaksanaan strategi pembelajaran berbasis penemuan yang dapat menstimulus keterlibatan siswa dalam konteks pembelajaran daring. Strategi pembelajaran berbasis penemuan terbukti mampu menstimulus keterlibatan siswa khususnya keterlibatan perilaku dalam hal pengembangan kemandirian siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.  Peran guru sebagai fasilitator dalam melaksanakan strategi pembelajaran berbasis penemuan sangat penting untuk memastikan relasi serta interaksi selama pembelajaran daring. Saran untuk penulisan selanjutnya, strategi pembelajaran berbasis penemuan mampu mencakup dua dimensi lainnya dari keterlibatan siswa yaitu keterlibatan psikologi dan kognitif.
