Cityhub Plaza Design at SCBD With Modern Urban Oasis Approach

Abstract

Jakarta as an economic center makes it one of the busiest cities in Indonesia. The rapid economic activity is reinforced by the term “Golden Triangle”, where this imaginary triangle stretches through three main business districts, and SCBD is one of the district. The design will be carried out at SCBD which is dominated by the productive generations (Generation Z). In addition, the status of SCBD as a word class business district needs to support its business activities through MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition) and one thing that could support this is the existence of a business hotel. However, SCBD also has disadvantage, which is a limited open space due to the massive buildings. A mixed-used design is proposed in the form of Cityhub Plaza at SCBD that carry the concept of a Modern Urban Oasis.
