Language Policy Update

de.lite is a peer-reviewed bilingual journal that focuses on foundational discussions in visual communication design. The journal is published by the Department of Visual Communication Design, Universitas Pelita Harapan, twice a year, in July and December. de.lite was first published in July 2021.

Starting from Volume 7, Number 1 (July 2027), de.lite will adopt English as the sole language of publication. Accordingly, all articles published in de.lite Vol. 7 No. 1 and subsequent issues must be written in English.

Manuscripts submitted before this policy takes effect that are still undergoing review, revision, or editorial processing will remain subject to the journal's publication schedule. However, any manuscript originally written in a language other than English that is accepted for publication in Vol. 7 No. 1 or later must be translated or revised into English before publication.

This language policy is intended to strengthen the journal's international reach and accessibility while maintaining its commitment to foundational discussions in visual communication design.
