Abstract

This Study looks at how capital market legal education is urgently needed for the younger generation to help them overcome the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) in equity investing.  The FOMO phenomenon leads the younger generation to rush investment choices without sufficient research, which might financially hurt them.  Conceptually and legally, the normative legal approach is used to investigate the legal and regulatory elements connected to capital market legal education and the protection of young investors.  Furthermore, a literature study was done to grasp the significance of early capital market knowledge and the influence of FOMO.  The findings of the research show that developing clever and legally protected young investors depends much on capital market legal education included into the educational curriculum from elementary school to college.  By raising knowledge of capital market risks and procedures, this education is meant to offset FOMO and help to build a healthy and sustainable investing culture among the younger generation.  This paper advocates for financial institutions, regulators, and educational organizations working together to provide inclusive and efficient capital market legal education courses.
